Pedal steel, ambient textures, cosmic country, and carefully built sounds.A musician, engineer, and touring player based in Denver, Eric brings together years of stage experience, studio work, and technical curiosity to create sounds that live somewhere between cosmic country, ambient texture, and handmade electronics.Originally from Dallas, Texas, Eric studied Electrical Engineering and Mathematics before moving to Brooklyn, NY to pursue music full-time. He left NY and returned to Texas before settling in Denver, CO. Since 2009, he has recorded and toured extensively with Israel Nash on pedal steel, guitar, bass, keys, and vocals, performing everywhere from bars to clubs to major festival stages across the U.S. and Europe.That mix of engineering, performance, and road-tested gear experience is at the center of Swantronics — whether through recorded music, live performance, or the amplifiers and effects that continue to shape the sound.

amp repair & legacy services
Swantronics began as a tube amp repair shop, and that work still informs everything I do with tone, gear, and recorded sound. I am not currently taking on regular repair work, but limited service information and referrals are available here.
